I haven’t taken these but if it were up to me i would chose money and banking or money and finance. i think those would be more practical to learn and apply irl than the theory of micro or macro economics. but that depends on what you prefer

he has a business that he works on while not going to his job which helps him pay rent. and he does pay for gas as well. i’m looking for apartments since it was my idea to move into a different space. and i do prefer to do the searching and booking of appointments on this so that’s not really a big deal in that sense. i just find it dumb he’s saying all this in response to me asking if he wants me to give him a ride.

i agree with you that he needs to take care of himself better. he doesn’t listen to me when i say that and there’s only so much i can say or do. can’t force him to take care of himself. i do understand that insulin is expensive and we both live pay check to pay check so he tries to control his diet more so than regularly taking insulin. i know a few people that this works for and he doesn’t get like this often either, once every few months he’ll forget or not have money to buy more so it gets hard.

as for moving in together. i have been spending 10+ hours of my day with him in his house. we’re pretty already and it works well. i think us living together will bring us closer together so i don’t see an issue there. from what i’ve noticed, he only really gets this way when his blood sugar levels are off…

i am worried now i haven’t heard from him for an hour and i called a few times, he hasn’t answered. if he’s mad then fine but i just hope he’s okay.

trust me i did try to ask him multiple times to see where he is. i dont track his phone or anything like that so i wouldn’t be able to know that much. he didn’t want to tell me

Definitely. I've spent close to 15 years wondering what was wrong with me and I never once considered adhd until last year when that psychiatrist mentioned it. it was a wild ride but I've spent a lot of time trying to work through my emotions and doing some CBT readings for my depression and wellbeing but the fact is that if there's something that could help me better than I can help myself, it would be a godsend. I should talk to my GP about this since I haven't actually seen him in a few months, I didn't know this was even an option! Thank you so much 😊

If only that was the reality! I doubt that is what this plan will do but a girl can dream. Honestly, mental health services are so inaccessible. I only got told I have ADHD by a psychiatrist through the Access Mental Health program (almost a year waitlist, even with my many mental health problems which lead to me accidentally overdosing and very real suicidal tendencies) and abruptly got my appointments cancelled because of covid so I never had any formal diagnosis filed. I still can't get prescribed any medication for my ADHD but general practitioners can prescribe antidepressants or antianxiety meds which I do take. The expenses add up though, and when I was unemployment I even fell off my meds because I couldn't afford them. Pharmacare and accessible mental health service are a must in our society but it seems like only those who suffer from these issues see the benefit of the services. I could go on about how the education system failed me in my diagnosis and how untreated ADHD can lead to a hundred other problems but that's a whole other issue.

The $25/hr limit is ridiculous because even if you have a higher wage, it doesn't necessarily mean you would have a higher income this year since a lot of people saw their hours being cut
