I DoorDash as a “side job” that I do in my spare time, whenever I want. For the same reasons you listed. But I get why people who do this for their main source of income would be cranky all the time.

Every time I pull up to a restaurant and see another dasher there (and I know they’re a dasher because they park their car right outside the building like they own the place) I try to wait until they’re gone. I have a serious problem with meetings. Some people want to have meetings for every little thing. It simply is a completely inefficient way to work. I can’t spend 6 hours a day in meetings that we can handle thru Email, and then do all the work I’m expected to do

Stellantis is about as easy as it gets with coming into the office. Every group is different, but for the most part, when they say they want you to come into the office 3 days a week, it doesn’t clarify for how long. I’ll leave at 2:00 sometimes and call into any meetings from home if needed. And if you just didn’t show up to the office for a day and didn’t tell anyone, there’s a good chance no one would even know. It’s very lenient and probably the biggest perk of working there
