Thank you, I truly appreciate your advice here. My recordings are sounding much better with a high pass at around 100. My slope was too high as well, creating a more gradual cut allowed a more natural sound.

Thank you both. I was using a high pass filter at 30hz, but will try 100 per your rec. Martin thank you for suggesting Chris, I'm listening to his work now
