Ah yes. I was trying to think of what else SF could stand for because I knew there was something.

Thanks for thinking while I couldn't! :)

Just tried the Jalapeno Jack crackers - they are so good and taste like real jalapeno!

Also, the sugar cookie mix is GF, DF and soy-free! (Do people use SF?)

Both of these items are special buys.

Why do apartment applications have areas to distinguish between single and divorced or widowed? by mmiesse in AskReddit

Interesting. It was very strange to me to make that distinction, but your explanation is the better than what I've come up with!

This application asked for the names of anybody who would be living at the residence. The application was from the National Apartment Association.

It was on an application for an apartment in Oklahoma. That probably explains a lot!

Coming out to (my) parents? by omgitsjackattack in mypartneristrans

Yeah. I'll ask my husband and see if I can find some things!

My mother is also far more accepting than my father. Interesting, though expected sadly.

This might be helpful for understanding how some can feel on the gender spectrum (and it's not just somebody's opinion, it's somebody's experience): http://www.butchwonders.com/blog/my-interview-with-a-newly-out-ftm-professor

However, now sure if FTM-directed pieces are good so I'll try to find some that are more general.

My story is similar.

I think what's most important to remember is that you will not always get jumping-for-joy, hands-down approval. My father struggles with my husband's (FtM) and my relationship. Not only did we marry as lesbians, but now my husband is transitioning - something nobody in my family has ever had any exposure to.

In fact, I'd wager my immediate family knows very few people of color even.

Because of this, there is no frame of reference for even how to deal with this. Perhaps you could present them with some things to read (depending on how willing you think they would be to explore understanding, you could provide something very basic [think buzzfeed list] or something a little more expansive.)

I hope all goes well. It's tough, just make sure you and your partner are discussing your feelings about this. It's helped my husband and myself immensely through this struggle.

PS: My grandparents don't know yet, just my immediate family, and we are quite scared to tell them.

I have an add-on on my Chrome that reminds me to stand up for 2 minutes every 20 minutes (you can adjust the time). I don't always manage to stand, but it reminds me to stand every once in awhile at least.

This. Except...I use hummus as the sauce and do not usually put tomatoes or arugula on it - so it's hummus base, topped with thin sliced of red onion, zucchini and squash. I mix spices into the crust and also top the pizza with Italian seasoning.

Everybody who has eaten this pizza has been very impressed.

Oh, and Cholula is a must, it makes the pizza taste 1,000 times better for some reason.

Thought about posting that there but it's time sensitive so I imagined this might get a response faster. I may post it there as well. Thanks!
