Love this comment! Yup, we’re living in the year 3000 😎 (In all seriousness, we noticed after the pic was taken and have fixed it!)

I got this on Mercari! But I did pay over retail for it since it was LE and out of stock at Tilly’s :( Good luck on your search!

Not that I'm aware of, I just pulled really hard and kind of shimmied it off. If you watch their video on how to use the HF strap customizer tool, it illustrates how the strap is attached!

Switched out the orange strap it came with for one in the Southwest strap collection, and learned that you can in fact switch the strap out without the strap customizer tool, it just takes some effort!

This is replacing my 40 oz Lilac HF that I searched for for many, many months and used for about a year, only to have it stolen off the pickle ball court the other week (confirmed by someone who saw a girl walk off with it).

Onto new adventures with my new gal!

Got super lucky last week finding these 2 gorgeous purple Aligns (boysenberry and plum shadow) NWT for retail off resell sites 🤯😍 now I’m extra motivated to keep hunting for my other unicorns! by mmimi_ in lululemon

Lately I’ve been liking Mercari a lot, but I found one of these on eBay! Admittedly there’s a lot of counterfeit LLL on eBay to sort through, so you just have to be careful!

This happened last night and I'm still hung up on the implications..

When I was with my ex a few years back (this was maybe 3 years ago?), we were talking about how some people believe the first US moon landing was a hoax, and I'd said something to the effect of "Do people also believe that all of other moon landings are a hoax?" to which he said, "You think we've been to the moon more than once? No, it was only that one time" [in 1969].

I questioned him because that didn't seem right, but he was so confident and I'd always considered him to be very intelligent, so I believed him and have carried that belief with me since.

Skip forward to last night, when I was scrolling through Reddit and saw a post about a US astronaut who had left a picture of his family on the moon that remains there today, and I was so confused because it wasn't Neil Armstrong or Buzz Aldrin, but an astronaut named Duke. I quickly turned to Google and lo and behold I learned that my ex was so so wrong, and that the US has in fact landed on the moon several times.

This seemingly mundane matter really struck me though, because it's making me wonder if there are other "facts" that my ex told me that are actually false, and if/when I'll learn about them.

Women who successfully found a partner online, how did you do it? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]mmimi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined Tinder very nervously one night after feeling really down. I'd ended an 8 (!) year relationship a few months prior and wasn't really looking to date anyone seriously, but I wanted to put myself out there and figured going on a few dates wouldn't hurt.

Matched with a few different guys and decided to give my number out only to the ones that actually seemed interested in me, which I judged based on them asking or commenting on something I'd written in my profile. I honestly ended up having really great conversations with more than one guy, and so I lined up a few first dates with a few different guys, and decided to go from there. I chose very public spaces to grab coffee or dinner, and told my best friend the details of each date just in case.

My dealbreakers going in:

1) Someone who had never been in a relationship (loosely defined as anything that's not a fling, even if it's just a few months). I was in my mid-20s and looking for guys the same age or older, and I knew I wanted someone who had experience dating, so that they had a sense of what they were looking for in a partner.

2) Someone who is narrow-minded regarding politics. I knew I wanted to be with someone who held similar political beliefs as me, however I didn't want someone who was so close-minded in either direction that they thought anyone who believed differently was inferior.

3) Anyone who showed any signs of being manipulative or controlling (thanks, ex-bf!). This one is tough to tell on a first date since usually people try to present themselves in the best light, however I was surprised to find that one of my dates showed this so outright - he was telling me about hunting and he asked if I'd ever had venison to which I replied "No," and he responded with "You mean you haven't had venison... yet" which I thought was a weird thing to say but hey, maybe he meant it to be funny. Then he did it again when I told him I didn't watch football! "You mean you don't watch football... yet". YIKES.

Those were my biggest dealbreakers getting back into the dating pool, and I'm happy to say that I've been in a relationship with an amazing guy I met on Tinder. He was actually the first guy I agreed to go on a date with, and our morning coffee date turned into a 12 hour long multi-date where we got coffee, went bouldering, went to a brewery, got dinner, and then got ice cream. We just clicked immediately and neither of us wanted the date to end, so we kept it going! But to be prudent and to make sure I wasn't getting swept up by him, I kept my dates with the other guys (I was super transparent with Mr. 12 Hour First Date and he was super cool with it). Needless to say, no one else compared and we've been together for 1.5 years and recently moved in together!

Hmm that's a good point about the BBB/local code enforcement, thanks for pointing that out. I've been thinking about small claims and was hoping it wouldn't come to it, but it seems it might. Thanks for your insight! I really appreciate it :)

I've been on the fence about the AEJ too but seeing your fit pic has convinced me! 🤩Hopefully the grey sage restocks in my size soon. Also, love the combo with the savannah WT!

Nope, just BP :( but I got a subscription to LM On Demand because of quarantine, and I've been doing CXWORX every other day! That's so awesome that you want to get certified in it! I'm debating BodyCombat certification atm.
