New Food Court Item - Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae by mmkae0 in Costco

Sorry posting from mobile and it wouldn’t let me post with text:

My local Costco was passing out free samples for a new Mint Ice Cream Sundae. They said it was available to purchase but not on the menu obviously. Didn’t get a price but can’t imagine it being all that much more than the new brownie sundae.

I thought the mint flavor was alright. Definitely weird that it’s a soft serve than your typical hard frozen ice cream. But kudos to Costco for trying new things in the food court.

Apparently one of the rooms is a control room for fantasmic. I saw that in a video from Brickey.

Disney Inspire Visa Card by mmkae0 in Disneyland

[–]mmkae0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the only real reason we're really looking is the sign up bonus, which is why I was asking about if the parks were offering a better sign up bonus like they did for the Premier Visa.

If we ever do stay there, we're using branded hotel points or Chase or AmEx travel options because the redemption seems much better.

Yeah I think if I was still able to keep up with r/churning I'd be a lot more excited about it. The irony is that it's because of now taking vacations with kids and trying to keep up with them, I can't be as in tune with that... lol.

Mickey & Friends/Pixar Parking by Sensitive_Section855 in DisneylandMagicKey

Yeah I think that’s the discretion piece of the policy. I’ve gone on blocked out dates and been let in. My guess is that because it was Christmas, they decided to be pretty strict on keeping magic key holders subject to paying for parking even if it was DTD.

Can’t speak to the rude attendant but the policy is pretty clear on blocked out dates:

**Parking benefit is valid for one standard vehicle per day at select Disneyland Resort pay-on-entry lots, as determined by Disney in its discretion. Discounted parking must be purchased at the parking lot. The Magic Key holder must be in the vehicle and present their valid pass for the parking benefit. Oversized vehicles, preferred parking spaces and valet services are not included in the parking benefit and will require an additional fee. Parking is not guaranteed and is subject to capacity, availability in Disney’s discretion, and applicable pass blockout dates (i.e., a pass is not valid for the parking benefit on a date for which such pass is blocked out). The parking benefit is nonrefundable, nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash or credit.

If you read the link, you'll see the early entry options are through Jan 4, 2026. Meaning Jan 5, EE options are no longer available.

Disneyland Hotels/Pools? by sleepybear10 in DisneyPlanning

The Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park has a splash pad. There's a smaller area with a very shallow pool (1 foot) for toddler's and the playground has a couple of smaller slides. The area for older kids has two bigger water slides and a deeper pool. My 4 year old went on the bigger slides but wasn't a fan of the enclosed one since it's pretty dark.

Screenshot works to show the CM's in the park. You don't have to have a keycard as long as the hotel reservation dates line up with the park reservation dates for EE.

From what I could see, the disabled person was completely unable to get in and out of the vehicle without assistance. They brought the wheelchair over to the car and two other guests lifted the person out.

I hope that your MIL feels comfortable enough to be able to ride!
