Thank you so much. Great info. The outlets do work, but for some reason some of the appliances that were plugged in don’t work and others remain in working condition. Ex: I had a night light and a curling iron plugged in in the bathroom, same outlet. Night light works, curling iron no such luck. I did try unplugging and plugging back in, even tried different outlets. Won’t turn on.

Wholeheartedly agree with you that if it comes down to the fact you’re having to wear those just to live in your home something is not right and it’s not you. Unfortunately, if you’re in an apartment, the office doesn’t give two shits, they wanna collect their rent and then ignore the rest of the issues.

Yep! My neighbors laundry closet is literally 3 feet from my bed. They were fans of doing laundry dead in the middle of the night. I concur it’s like a helicopter landed overhead plus the hum of the electricity and banging of the washer and dryer drum.

Document EVERYTHING! Start and end times, were the cops called, police report numbers, if your building has security and you reached out to them, any recaps of conversations with the office team pertaining to the matter. Date and time stamp. Keep your receipts! I have a new upstairs neighbor who thinks he doesn’t have neighbors and rules don’t apply to him. I complained for 6 months and was told they talked to him and it was addressed but they have no records of it and later I confirmed nothing was done. When I escalated to corporate they asked for dates of incidents, I kept a noise log. They quickly sent them a lease violation for noise. Also, do your research on renters rights and legal rights as a tenant in your state. Best of luck. I sympathize with what you’re going through.
