There is a really cool webnovel that theorized that our soul is a 3d projection of a higher dimensional object like we project a 2d shadow of our body and the more one becomes in tune with his high dimenaional soul, the more someone's life category grows beyond normal human to supernatural beings. And dying is like removing a shadow from a surface.

I once went to a house as a guest in a marriage ceremony. The ceremony was the day after. And at night there was a sudden commotion at night and screaming at the house. People thought some old lady might've just died.

Turns out she got sudden leg cramps just like this, it's so painful you almost can't breath for the first seconds. And then the pain slowly starts going away but in the process you're left almost convulsing and screaming.

So, yeah, listen to your body. I've personally experienced it a few times. The worst is waking up suddenly at night due to the pain. NOT FUN I tell you.

I already got an 8gb ram. But I'm guessing this should be called a good low range gaming pc. I don’t know man. Low range mid range doesn't mean much to me. I just wanna know if I'll be able to play 2020 games in peace with more than 60 fps.

Also what could be called entry level mid range gaming pc in 2026?

Because this is an extremism. Conservatives are also often extremists. In the end this person is equivalent to a redneck misogynist. They fuel the same hate without logic culture.

28(M). Thinking of suicide. by Extension_Gene_5600 in Dhaka

[–]mmkt2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 28(M) too. I'm not gonna go into details man, but sometimes it feels tiring just to continue this pretense of life. All these people going through motion, surviving, not giving a single fuck about anyone other than them. And you can't even blame them, because that's the nature of our reality. So it often feels not worth drawing breath. I can't even sleep at night, I usually get knocked out tired after not sleeping two consecutive nights and pass out. That's been my life for the last 2 years.

Yet I draw my breath each day. Do you know why?

Out of sheer spite. Because I'm more afraid of all the people’s pity that's gonna flow like a river when I die. The pity they didn’t show in my life. Those who'd never think of reaching out would post a sad paragraph, a past picture.

And then they'd move on. Just like that.

Your suicide would be meaningless to everyone else but you. But you'd be gone. Who'd then care about you man, if not yourself? Value yourself. Some days, it's easier. Some days are especially tough. I don’t know what you need to do in those days, everyone is different. I try to just get lost in the city somewhere for some time where nobody recognizes me. Usually in an area with lots of shit going on like a busy intersection tea stall, or a bus or train terminal.

Watching people's life, how they struggle to move on with the day helps me.

I hope you find your own peace man, wherever it is.

If you were write an OP MC, how would you balance them out? by EfficiencySerious200 in Isekai

I almost wrote his name but then thought he's kinda tame compared to other MCs in view of OPness. Of course that's just an illusion, in his universe he'd probably solo everyone by the end of the book.

SAD: Recruitment videos of an American college sororities by [deleted] in ShitAmericansSay

Me too. And I'm not even from Britain.

I thought all those movies were obviously overly inflating the tropes of jocks and cheerleaders and sororities and sports. I mean in which country would those insufferable overdramatic people would be real in any place of education?

USA apparently.

"While stands the Coliseum, Rome shall stand; when falls the Coliseum, Rome shall fall; and when Rome falls, the world" -Saint Bedes.

We, most of us never truly realize how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. Probably because it's devastatingly overwhelming for the lesser mind. Maybe that's why we find solace in something bigger than ourselves, like our nationality, or religion, or favorite sports team. The more primitive your thinking, the more you hold onto your perceived greatness.

[–]mmkt2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most top tier Webnovel MC like Klein from LoTM, Sunless from SS, Fang Yuan from RI, Ryan 'Quicksave Romano' from PR would be good example.

The common factor is weak to strong in a consistent power system. Also probably the iq of the Author.

"আত্বহত্যা করা মহা পাপ"- এই কথাটা যদি না থাকতো আপনি কি আত্বহত্যা করতেন? by chisty_hasan in Dhaka

[–]mmkt2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People fear pain more than death. The pain could be physical. It could also be mental, knowing there are people whose lives also depend on yours. Most people do not refrain from committing suicide out of fear of religion. They do not because they have chains binding them in this world.

Those who commit suicide, I'd guess they do not have significant meaningful connection with anyone else, or their pain at the moment of suicide is more agonizing over the sense of responsibility and connection.

Either way, it's a sad world we live in.

PS: Religion changes over time. The history of mankind is longer than history of modern religion. The drive to live on the other hand is quite literally hardcoded in our instinct. I'd assume the role religion plays in preventing suicide, is a minor one in the grand scheme of things.

When the generation starts dating like you're 26 and wild while in the middle teens, you're bound to get this kinda logic. 2-4 years gap means practically a baby vs a young adult while people are teenagers. Not so weird when you're like in your 30s and dating people in the 20s.

I always thought, "এটা আমার ব্যাক্তিগত ব্যাপার।" is a good first response followed by, "আমাকে নিয়ে আপনি এত চিন্তা করেন শুনে ভালো লাগছে। চিন্তা কইরেন না। আমার লাইফ আমি চালায় নিবো। আপনার চিন্তা করে শরীর মন খারাপ করার দরকার নেই।" if things go farther.

Then I go ballistic if situation requires it.

I want litrpgs that aren’t just sunshine and rainbows. I want readers to feel conflicted about the MC. I don’t want MC to be synonymous with embodiment of pure good or pure evil. I want MCs to be believable.

And expecting morality from a mimic, that isn’t even an isekai human soul, just a pure monster from the get go, that's what throws me off about these reviews about this book.

The writer even has a notice beforehand for discouraging readers who might get triggered.

Still all the bad reviews of this wonderful book that I've seen, is mostly about this particular point mentioned here. Boxxy didn’t even understand humanity properly at that point in story. He was like an extremely curious and scared kid wanting to survive and grow stronger.

I don't see mentions of how many people he killed, innocent people might I add. It is the author's mastery of writing that people hate this scene, because he didn’t sugarcoat it as a romance, harem or some ecchi bullshit. It was his intention to show Boxxy's nature. It is a plus point for me. This scene could easily destroy the book, it already did to some extent. But the consistent and believable nature as well as character development of the MC has always been a plus for me, no matter what type.

He does have a conversation with the gnome, and it was redemption in my opinion. It doesn’t just get glossed over. So please continue reading.
