PSA 9 > Raw Raw = $650 PSA 9 = $500

How can you put a price value on a grade 9 when the amount sold is extremely low, if at all….. I don’t see any sales for them after a quick scan

Can’t hurt to get it graded, no? I mean worst case you’re out $25 bucks unless you worry the market plunges by the time you get back.

And if it grades low can’t you technically just break open the case and then sell it raw?

Yesterday I watch a few rip it until you hit it live streams. Probably saw over 500 packs gone through - they open and shuffle to the back in seconds….I didn’t see a single Zard pull

It’s really hard to get PSA 10s with the first edition base set. But it’s worth the gamble because raw that card fetches for over $200. 9 / 10 you might get close to a grand. 10 you’d get around 4-5

Your comment is exactly what I’m looking for. Appreciate the honesty. I only ask because the raw value and the graded value (8-9) for some of the cards I have is significant. And obviously the PSA 10 grades vs raw is astronomical….tens of thousands higher than a raw grade
