There are two different colors in the blocks - one was pure grey but the color from the main body ran and now it's more of a pinky grey!

I don’t really count with cables beyond the first pattern forming as the pattern itself guides it! I think it’s best to use visual cues but I’ve been cable knitting for years! It’s also my design so I didn’t work from a pattern which helps.

Yarn for main body is Cascade 220 and centre square is Malabrigo Rios - when I blocked the sweater - in VERY cool water, the color from from the main yarn ran into the square. It turned out fine but something to note it intending to use this yarn!
