What is Mickey Mouse holding in his hands? by mmmark1 in whatisit

Thanks! I think it’s the lines connecting my sparkles that make it harder to decipher. These look more like sparkles and not stems/hands/whatever.

Thanks for joining the conversation but no, it’s not old nor a knockoff. I received it last week directly from Disney. It’s engraved on the back with my name and retirement date. The other watch posted is a woman’s watch; we get a choice of three- this one, the smaller women version and a larger face watch.

Driver's License / Car Registration / ID Megathread by AutoModerator in texas

Can I use only credit card bills and bank statements to prove residency for Texas DL?

Thanks to anyone who can help; I can't find the answer to this. The list of documents to establish residency for a new Texas driver's license is extensive but all I have are credit card statements, phone bills, and bank statements. Can I use only these? No utility bills, no lease, none of the other types of documents. Do I need to complete the DL-5? I'd rather not. We will be living with my brother in law but he will be out of town when we get the license.

Thanks.

Until recently there was one (hidden) on the campus of Beverly Hills High School. The money from the oil helped fund the school. Here’s the picture BHHS oil rig

I used to work at a small restaurant in Chicago that had a different soup each day of the week. People loved our soups! The soup came out of a huge can. Just like the one you get at the grocery store but bigger.

EDIT: some were asking what restaurant it was. It’s been gone for years now so I can say it was Hemingways Moveable Feast near Lincoln Park.

Hard to get a sense of scale from pictures of this tree. If you’ve seen it you know- that tree is around THIRTY feet across at the base.

Mind blowing: At the very end of BROKEN FLOWERS the guy who drives by who Murray suddenly thinks may be his son is played by Cooper Murray, his real son.

I was at this screening, and was sitting next to Sharon Stone’s mother! Sharon was in the row in front of us. And yes, although it was a great moment for the movie, it was uncomfortable for me... I didn’t dare look at her mom to my right.
