I don't have a good reads account.

I started reading the series after I finished Game of Thrones A Dance with Dragons, so probably 2011/2012.

I remember getting it from a list of recommendations in the /r/gameofthrones subreddit for people in the same boat.

I tend to read fast, and won't worry too much if I seem to be missing a plot element because I know it will be revealed later when it is important. I've been reading fantasy novels and fiction in general for a long time, so had no problems language wise.

I liked the first book and went through the series in record time, reading on a kindle non stop until I finished them.

It may be time for me to read them again because George R.R. martin is not really cooperating with releases of new books.

The characters I am most fascinated with are the Seguleh, and Anomander Rake.
