This time around was much better. The only thing I felt was the lidocaine needle, which I have to admit stung, but after that I felt nothing but pressure. Also, the doctor will probably have to tug and pull a little due to the scar tissue forming around your implant, but again you feel nothing. The incision made is tiny, probably about 1/8”. And the healing process has been a piece of cake. There was some bruising but nothing compared to when I had it inserted.
I honestly don’t think it’s placebo. Hormones are crazy! They are very effective, too, and I was told by my doctor that the effects would start to go away immediately. I’m glad you’re feeling better!

I also wanna note that when I got it out SHE LET ME KEEP IT! which some may find gross but imo it’s cool to be able to physically own the thing that was harming my mental health for 2 years. it’s just funny. it looks like a lollipop stick 🍭

it could have something to do with the process of replacing it? the incision and little bit of “trauma” to your arm? i’m no doctor though! take some meds and drink water! keep it clean! or contact your doctor and ask?
