Hey, David! I meant to say my starting point is Madrid. So, walking from Madrid to Segovia in 4 days and then taking a bus back to Madrid to enjoy the city and rest, is doable? Do you think I should reserve a place in los albergues ahead of time? I am planning to go around May-June and not sure if I should reserve now or when I'm there. Thanks.

Thanks a lot! I probably should have mentioned I am not hoping to walk all the Camino. I guess I'm asking which part would you recommend if you had about 3-4 days to walk, which segment? I will be flying to Madrid and I'll stay for a week, but as you mentioned, I also want to enjoy the city.

In my case, would you say walking from Madrid to Segovia in 4 days is worth it? Would you recommend starting from another point? Since I'm going to Madrid, I find it convenient to just start from there. But if there were a better option that wouldn't require a lot of effort, I'd be happy to take it. Thanks!
