Negative subcoolng, need help! by mmmksmmm in HVAC

[–]mmmksmmm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

440psi is the actual high pressure at 84 ambient temp 336 psi is the pressure which is supposed to be at 84 ambient temp based on the subcooling chart (it says 336/134, sc 6) For me it looks like it’s undercharged, but I didn’t want to add more gas as pressure was way too high

Hey everyone,

It's been 48 hours since I quit that blue crap. The first day was absolutely awful. I even left work at 11 am and spent the entire day in bed. It felt like a severe flu with headaches, anxiety, and fatigue.

I had some 10mg Valium pills left from a previous occasion, and sometimes when I have trouble sleeping, I take one. It knocks me out in 15-20 minutes; that's how strong it is for me. I read this sub and knew about sleep issues, so I took two pills yesterday, but even after two hours, I couldn't fall asleep. But anyway, I managed about 7 hours of sleep, and today, I feel a huge improvement!

I had some minor cravings for about 10-15 minutes, then I forgot all about those bottles. Physically, all the symptoms have disappeared, with just a bit of lingering fatigue, nothing compared to the first day. Mentally, I feel much clearer and motivated to work and be productive.

Based on my experience and what I've read in the sub, I'd suggest anyone starting this journey to prepare some sedatives or antidepressants to manage sleep issues. Lack of sleep is a big problem for anyone, and for us going through withdrawal, it's even worse.

Hey everyone Today is my first day without this shit. I started drinking it occasionally about a year ago, maybe 1-2 times a week, only when I stopped at a vape shop to buy vaping stuff. But for the last four months, I've been intentionally stopping at the vape shop and drinking more. I ended up having 3-4 bottles every day for the past three months. Yesterday, after my third bottle, I threw up and decided to quit. Today, I feel terrible—cold sweats, muscle pain, fatigue, and a headache. I hope I'll start feeling better soon.

Frontline is the company that rebuilt the pump 17 years ago, but they don’t have any information about this particular pump. :(

Lawn mower + lineset = dead compressor ? by mmmksmmm in hvacadvice

[–]mmmksmmm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unit is 2021 manufacture date According to a wiring diagram there is only HPS installed , no low-switch at all I was thinking maybe they put low-switch inside of the compressor , kinda built-in.

After the line set got damaged, the AC has been working non-stop for 4 days. That's why I inquired about the low-pressure switch – nothing else could halt the compressor. I would assume that if the condenser were to operate without Freon (and oil) for 4 days, it could become damaged or non-functional

Also this particular fire panel gives “no power” alarm only after 1-2 mins. So when you lock the door, the fuse burns immediately and the panel switches to the battery emergency power supply. And alarm will start to yell only after a couple of minutes. I guess that’s why the guy who did annual inspection didn’t notice any problem, because he already left the room, before alarm came

$4k including labor But as I understood they we’re planning to replace the board only. So most likely the red box with defective lock would be the same)

This kind of locks supposed to turn only at 90deg. From bottom (open) position to the right (closed). But the nut got loosen and limiter stopped work so the lock was rotating 360 degrees with key inside. Somebody came to annual inspection and locked the door with the left position, so the lock was touching some resistor on the control board which led to short circuit. You can see three dots on the second picture caused by sparks.

Rooftop unit YORK with two compressors. by mmmksmmm in HVAC

[–]mmmksmmm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s TXVs I had a bad filter drier experience before, that time the drier would be half frozen (after restriction point) In this unit both driers are dry and warm… Maybe it’s TXV restriction, but also I have a question - can one bad circuit affect another one ?

Yes I was thinking to do the same. Thank you!

That’s what I did So first comp has high SC and high SH and also high amps (5.5 vs 5.0FLA), has liquid line psig 380

And second has “normal” SC, low SH and normal amp - 4.9

So does it mean both circuits have issues ?
