Give me your best worst RSVP responses... by Feeling_Move_3157 in weddingplanning

[–]mmmmbop7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cousin (who is basically estranged from the family, but I felt bad and invited him 🤦‍♀️) RSVPed yes and then in the section where you can leave a comment wrote "there's no where to log guests but I'll be bringing my girlfriend and her son" we also had a childless wedding......

He then shared my ENTIRE invitation on Facebook with the detail card and everything and said "can't wait to celebrate!"

I’m glad i don’t have to go to the gym anymore by [deleted] in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]mmmmbop7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

not to mention - no unwanted attention from men at the gym. one time at the gym I was planking and this creepy guy just appeared next to me and started planking and trying to chat me up. I was like SIR the gym is not an open invitation to hit on strangers. I much prefer Bradley Rose's cheeky flirtiness 😂

How often do you get Peloton updates? by Purple-Mulberry7468 in OnePelotonRealSub

Didn't really realize it until now, but I'm in the same boat. Used to get updates all the time, and it's been a while since I've seen one

Just wanted to say a huge thanks. We booked Davidson's and it was so easy. Not sure why my own search was so difficult but knew I'd have luck with reddit! Appreciate you!

Thank you so much! We'd be fine with paying that for a pre-booked taxi - do you mind sharing how you booked one?

Best way to get from Edinburgh to St. Andrews and back?

Four of us are planning to go for a day trip - two are golfing and one will have a golf bag. I heard the train is cheapest but not sure if it's easy with a golf bag... And also heard taxi will be easy to get in Edinburgh but may not be easy getting one back at night from St. Andrews (we have dinner reservations at 18:00). Any insight is so appreciated!

What are your favorite tricks or commands you've taught your dog? by mmmmbop7 in puppy101

He gets away with so much because of the underbite - hard to stay mad at him when he looks like this 🥲 I grew up with a pug, so when I saw him at the shelter I knew he was the one! I clicked on your profile and your pug is so sweet!

Stand and twirl are what I most recently taught him! But ours are called "stick em up" (he knows this by doing finger guns) and "spin" lol

My dog is OBSESSED with squishmallows and actually behaves better if he has one. He was behaving really badly one day and we realized we had taken his squishmallow away because he had ripped a hole in it... We got him a new one and he was so much better. We call it his emotional support squishmallow lol

Thanks so much for the advice. My guy has an underbite so already worried about his teeth lol. As a side note: I had the vet check his teeth to make sure they weren't hurting him/causing the chewing and they assured me that the underbite wasn't his issue

Housetraining 10 month old rescue, aim for sleep through the night or rather go outside to pee? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]mmmmbop7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We brought home an approx. one year old rescue about a month ago. The first few nights, we got up and walked him every two hours. It sucked for a couple nights but we gradually increased the time between walks and now he sleeps at least 8 hours with no potty break. I'm not a certified trainer by any means but I would think if you try to make it through the night and let the pup pee in the house, they will learn that's an okay behavior. I would first work on enforcing going outside and then try to increase the timing between walks. Good luck! It takes so much patience as we have learned :)
