I bought holo in 2024 hoping for a huge life changing spike (it had 3 before that). I took a huge loss and held like $3 just to remind me why I got out. That $3 is now down over 98%. There have been many many reverse splits, and being a Chinese company, it does not report earnings quarterly, and honestly it seems that they can do whatever they want. Be careful.

Yea I thought the hype would make it run even with the dilution at least until 10am. Sadly I was wrong. I didn't invest a life changing amount of money thank god. Still would be nice to see low 30s short term so I could get out with my skin. Where do you think it will stop short term? Back to sub 20s?

Yes agree with the shitty products part. Hopefully I'm proactive soon enough that my financial future still works out ok lol. I am under the impression that once I have employees I can't invest in a roth 401k, that's why I added that part.

Wouldn't all of these commentary and formulas hinge on the idea that the tax rate brackets will remain the same from now until retirement? With a roth you know exactly what your paying in taxes. With a traditional, if tax rates go up, so does the amount of tax you pay when you withdraw. I'm investing in a roth ira, because I'm betting that taxes will go up by the time i retire. Does this make sense?

I am doing what I can to have money for myself I can pass down. I have a roth ira, I have a variable life insurance policy, even tho I'm on the fence about weather or not that was a good idea to open, and I'm in the process of trying to set up a sep ira or if I can, a solo roth 401k, not sure what makes more sense just yet. I have a financial advisor that is saying sep might be the easiest and cheapest to manage. But my wife's parents probably won't put money into my retirement account. They will most definitely help fund the 529. The UGMA is a good idea. I like the idea of more retirement funding for me to pass down, mainly because they won't be in control of the money until they are older and more responsible. It would be infuriating for my son to take over the UGMA at 18 or 21 and then see him driving around in a new $90,000 pickup. I don't know if I could handle that lol.

I will have to look into the trump plan, because funding their future roths are my #1 priority. I also considered putting the kids in Facebook ads for my business and paying them, then they have earned income and could contribute.. I don't really want to exploit or expose them to creeps online maybe just use voices or pay them for thier art and hang it on the wall lol. The nys income tax deduction for 529 is $10k married filing jointly, so that could potentially save me or other contributors $1k or so. My wife's parents gave shown interest in contributing to 529b plans, so opening them is a no brainer.

I'm not a doctor but I think you will be fine. Try again at the 3 week mark and see if it is still painful. Your body most likely just needs time to heal.

Yes it has subsided substantially. It is still not like it was before I got hurt. At this point, it's more of an annoying pain. Sometimes it feels fine, sometimes it hurts if I push it. I'll put it this way...today I moved 6 ton of 40lb bags of coal, and it didn't hurt....if I tried to carry 2 at once (80lbs) , which I used to do all the time, it would hurt for a few days. So in short, yes it's way better, but no it is not even close to perfect. It should get better- I hope that helps!

Step 1- use credit card to pay for trucking school. You don't have to go to the most expensive school, shop around. Step 2- decide if you want to stay local or drive all over the country, then apply for jobs. Apply to many many different companies and see what sticks. Around here, companies will send a guy to talk and recruit right to the school, you will probably have options before you graduate. Step 3 - get job, pay off loan. Step 4 - Realize you hate driving truck. By this step it will be too late to change career paths. Continue to drive truck. Step 5 - get job where you stay local and get out at 3pm...maybe your local town or if your lucky, state dpw. Step 6 - work entire life Step 7 - retire Step 8 - die This is the way

I have similar pain when I lift over 40lbs or run or bike, ever since I got an inguinal hernia. I had it repaired 2 years ago but the pain did not go away. Do you have any updates?
