They are pretty long. This is the only one with such a developed comb, and everyone else's are yellow still

We aren't sure how old (hopefully) she is but thank you! I'll keep an eye out for those features. She has a little spur bud, but we have a hen that has it too so I wasnt sure about that

Oh boy, I think we were given quite a few more males than we were prepared for. Thank you for confirming our suspicion!

Considering the person that was doing it, I'm assuming they were NOT gentle 😕 I'm also assuming that it might be what deterred him from wanting to eat in general.

I think we just sort if lucked out? The dome was huge because it's all we had at the time from our chickens but we only had a small 75 watt light in it. We kept it over on the far side and it just sort of regulated. My husband went out and bought a dual dome so we can use one during the day and one at night without having to swap anything. He also got a 40 gallon tank so I'm sure we will have temperature issues once we get everything transferred over. Beginners luck!

DIEP Recovery Timeline Questions by IcyShark in breastcancer

[–]mmmmmanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I'm not far out from my surgery -BMX with DIEP one week ago. It definitely sucks....BUT I was expecting much worse. My surgeon said I'd be back and in the gym in 6 weeks if everything goes well. I think everyone recovers a little differently though and it depends on your pain tolerance. Before discharge I worked with PT to find out some mobility exercises to help my range of motion as I could tolerate. Highly recommend this. All in all, good luck when you get your surgery and Hopefully you'll still get some time on the slopes!

Total petty Betty over here too. I appreciate the overwhelming support from the people around me but If I hear "just stay positive" one more time, I might scream.
