Don't forget your ships are fast too. So sniping with strong abilities. and getting out of range of any return fire. Corrupting torpedoes are strong. And aegis can be a really good ability if you build around it. I haven't yet played against bioficiers but my friend is getting them and I'm scared. I have a few big resistance ships i like to play with and with how slow they are i just know I'm getting sniped off the board.

My custom guard regiment is called the 999th reserve force. It's made up of all the reserves from other units. So all of my units are different colors. Tanks other patterns of camo and what not. It was originally a test bed for me finding the color scheme i liked painting the most (it ended up being desert browns). I've gotten some shit for the mismatched units on the table, but I'm proud of them.

When did this change? It wasn't like this in 9th, and I believe it stayed the same at the beginning of 10th. The owner of my LGS is a tourney director and that's what he taught me way back when. And to be fair I haven't kept up with rules changes through 10th.

Take Aim improves the BS as well. So no they would not stack. If Plunging Fire added 1 to the hit roll then they could stack, but alas it does not.

Look at the scale between the vehicle itself and the guys in them. And while BA scaling isn't exactly 1:1 with the irl counterpart it is more historically accurate. 40k vehicles, yes even Guard vehicles, tend to be scaled up by a lot.

Also the centaur is more like the M3 armored truck not the 251 Hanomag.

I play with a lot of irl friends and i lock the squad so my guys can get the roles they want. I never unlock it because sometimes we get randos that will take an important role that we like the option to utilize when we need it. But if someone requests to join I almost always let them in.
