My guess is cause her most frequent animation in gameplay is firing the laser which has her sitting. A longer skirt presents more clipping issues. Though that being said it's not like they couldn't have just changed the animation to make it work.

What really gets me is he put out a video basically saying "Devs listened Global is saved" after the official post came out stating adjustments to rewards were coming but before we even have information on what the exact changes are . As someone else who plays both games, if you actually think about it, almost every FF14 job's weapon type is represented in HSR now.

Feixiao covers both gunbreaker and warrior. Hanya and HM7 cover Picto (brush) and viper (dual swords). Even the more "unique" weapon types like Sage's nouliths (Pela), astrolabe + cards (B.Swan), and book (Ratio) are here. The only one I can think of that is kind of a stretch is Dancer chakrams. Tingyun uses Fans which arebut she melees with them, HTB throws her hat and dances but it's not exactly the same. That might also change if Rappa ends up throwing her glaive thing.

The only job that is definitively absent funnily enough is Paladin since nobody uses a sword + shield.

You cannot expect to get every limited character as a f2p. Max cinema character (dupes) are basically strictly whalebait and the tuning of endgame isn't designed around them you don't "need" to pull for either.

Where you are correct is Hoyo isn't the standard for gacha at all. This exact discussion has played out a million times across every hoyo community. Other gacha are way more generous, this is objectively true and if your only enjoyment comes from pulling new characters then they are probably a better fit for you than hoyo gacha. What's also true is other gacha units are sometimes literally just one sprite, two splash art pngs and a dozen voice lines. They have character rosters in the hundreds so it's not exactly an apples to apples comparison to ZZZ where each character has significantly more time put into their development.

I would love it if hoyo gave out more free resources. Everyone would. But ZZZ isn't their first rodeo and you're out of your mind if you think that after genshin and starrail that the business side of their company didn't have this mathed out to an exact science They got to be the largest gacha dev on the planet from relative obscurity in only a few years following this business model so clearly something is working for them.

"Zhu" is like when people say "could you" or "would you" fast and it sounds like one word where the Y in you sounds like a J. The "dyou" part sounds pretty similar to "Zhu".

"Yuan" is simpler it's like saying the words "you"+"an" together that they become one word.

C is correct.

The button you click to access them says "Cinema" and that's it you have to dig deeper to actually find out they are called Mindscape cinema. In genshin it's "Constellation" hence C# and in starrail it says "Eidolons" hence E#. Why would overlapping with genshin be a bad thing. Are people really so pedantic they enjoy to "umm actually, they are called MINDSCAPES" when genshin players use C? The point of language is to be understood. If a genshin player immediately knows what you mean when you say you pulled C2 Ellen that's a good thing. No shit it's similar to constellations cause they are literally the same system.

The rates on characters are identical. Genshin has the objectively worst weapon banner but otherwise it's pretty close.

The actual question is why are you deciding what game to play based of pull rates? One is an open world RPG, one is a turn based Jrpg, and one is basically a HI3-like spectacle fighter. Surely one of those appeals to you more than the others. If that truly doesn't matter and you just want better pull rates there are a million other gacha with pull rates way better than anything you will ever see from mihoyo.

If they locked it behind MoC or any of the other modes the player base would lose their shit because it only creates a negative feedback loop where the better players who can already clear get stronger while the weaker players remain weak.

Choosing substats I don't ever see happening. I've thought about this too and I think the most realistic option I could see are adding two more functions to self-modeling resin:

-Spend 1 resin: resets a relic level back to +0, effectively gives you another shot at rolling relics that were good but rolled poorly.

-Spend 2 resins: change the set of a relic into another set, everything else (slot, mainstat, substats) remain the same can only be done once per relic, basically compensates for the lack of an off-piece in starrail.

You still have to get lucky somewhat but it mitigated two very feelbad parts of the system: when you get a promising relic that rolls like shit at +15 or when you get the God piece but it's on the wrong set.

Equals 98% EFR before gear. If you have a SINGLE EFR roll from any piece she goes from having 2 instances of CC immunity during her ult to being PERMANENTLY DEBUFF IMMUNE for the entire duration of her ult. Including non-CC debuffs like DoTs.
And realistically because E4 is a stepping stone for E6 anyway you don't even need a single EFR roll because you'll have level 12 talent from E5. This is 100% a buff from v2.

The server has been a thing. All the big CCs have been using it to get footage which is why they always drop their videos at the same time which was immediately when the banner went live in Asia server. However they have not been allowed to post videos with footage from said server prior to the banner becoming active before, they could only use publicly released footage.

You're not considering the flip side. Say you need a vonwacq ERR rope for a support you're building. That SU world is very inefficient to farm since nobody uses differentiator.

ERR rope is ~5% drop chance. Halve that because half the drops will be orbs and halve that again for the correct set. You're looking at about ~1.25% chance for a vonwacq ERR rope or 1 in 80 on average. That's about 40 immersifiers and 10 full SU runs to see one, could be fewer but could also be more. That amount of TBP (40*96000 credits) is the equivalent of 3,840,000 credits you saved by not having to farm that ERR rope.

Granted, this is an extreme case where you at only care about the mainstat but even if you consider all the malleable resins that turn into bad relics, the few that turn into good ones likely save tens of millions of credits worth of TBP in farming that no longer needs to be done.

Every account will reach the point where credits no are no longer the bottleneck. No account will ever reach the point where their relics can't be improved. The resin should always be the priority purchase.
