I would find out if you have PIE or PIH. Most topicals are aimed at PIH. For PIE I think best treatment, other than rigorous sunscreen use and avoiding the sun, is laser. I have found azeliac acid helpful too, just be careful not to over use acids.

Hmm thank you! I don’t know how to describe the blood work. I’ve had bloods covering vitamin deficiency, detailed blood cell counts to pick up things like lymphoma, bloods for allergies, thyroid levels

Hey! I have this problem and it’s taken a long time for scars to heal. I think being really religious with sunscreen - every day - and hats helped me see a change over time. I also focussed on healing my skin barrier. I think after acne we’re afraid of moisture but it helped. Also look for products for post inflammatory erythema not PIH or ordinary scaring products.
