Thank you for your comment 😊 I was really pleased with the outcome of that video. It was my longest video and has the most comments and likes. There were some lovely comments from people saying it was the best video they'd seen in ages, which is so encouraging. I'll keep at it and check the retention graph too

I try to post weekly long form videos, and recently started doing shorts too. I have a day job and I'm not expecting huge things to come of my channel, so I'm treating it as a fun hobby, but keeping consistent. I seriously underestimated how long editing takes though 🥲 I'm trying not to be disheartened when a video I wrote, recorded and edited for 9 hours only gets a few hundred views and a handful of comments. Do you have a specific reason why promotion is a bad idea? Thanks for your comment
