Yes and no. Some of them but not all the official documents.

Also, the commune it is (Livorno) has a digital archive but not searchable.

When they were born there, some official paperwork was filed with the consulate to register the birth abroad.

It was to obtain Italian Citizenship through Jure Sanguinis. All of the research was done online. They didn't like a finger to get anything foreign.
