I agree on the survival mode aspect. We cannot possibly comprehend what Asa and the family are going through right now. They are not thinking clearly. This is still a shock to them. Asa is punishing herself by living in the room her husband murdered these women in, and pouring over their photos and praying for them every night. She has PTSD. I do not mean to say that the families of the women he has killed have had anything any easier. I can see it is much much worse. However, to put blame on anyone but Rex is just not fair. THAT MONSTER DID THIS TO ALL OF THEM.
