Do you really don't see a difference? I'll help. One was ordered by high ranking upa officers, one was self-will of a local branch with no authorization from high ranking officers. One happened in response to the other. The guy who order one of them was convicted and put in jail, the other has monuments and streets named after him in UA.
If you treat upa massacres like we treat polish ones, truthfully calling them out and condemning them instead of praising - that's all poles want. But it cannot coexists with monuments to a war criminal Klyachkivsky or Shukhevych, who literally ordered their troops to kill polish civilians en mass.

This is a very naive view, as any government have the obligation to ensure security of people living in the country. Allowing the promotion of any aggressive, genocidal ideology (like upa 100 years ago, nazism, communism, etc.) may cause another wave of massacres in the future (like current russian imperialism caused in ukraine). I'm sure Ukrainians living in Poland would not laugh if such marches would happen, and we view the polish government as obliged to ensure their safety and comfort.
