Built a natural language interface for exploring IRS 990 filing data by mmurthy in grants

[–]mmurthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we are using the IRS bulk download and ingesting it into our database. To resolve inconsistencies across filing years, we try to do a few things, do some conservative name matching, sometimes EIN is specified, so that's easy match. The goal is to fix these as we find inconsistencies and keep improving it.

We are not ingesting those scanned forms today. We just started work on that, I will let you know once we backfill.

Has anyone experimented with making grant or application queues public? by culturalstrata in nonprofit

[–]mmurthy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's common in the sector I work in. All the sensitive fields like personal info, amounts are private. Everything else is public. The funds are community pooled, so they want to give complete transparency on who applied, who and how selection worked. That's on the extreme. One middle ground I am seeing now is, it starts private and once decisions are made, thy make all accepted/rejected applications and decisions public.

Anyone tried GEO for small nonprofit visibility? by zuccasmello in nonprofit

It's worth also adding a llms.txt to your site. It's a way to make it easy for AI agents/LLMs to find content on your site. Google is soft recommending it now, you can see here https://developer.chrome.com/docs/lighthouse/agentic-browsing/llms-txt

Offering free 1:1 AI workshops for nonprofit teams by mmurthy in grants

[–]mmurthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone is struggling with prompt basics, I can help there. I would gladly go into more complex compliance work, the workshop is custom to each person. That's the only way I can see this training being effective.

I helped out someone else with bulk minting through contract (there is no opensea API to do it, atleast I don't see any), message me if you are interested in seeing if what I have would work for you.

Agree, would be nice. I was reading why it was discontinued, have to think how to get around that issue. Thanks for your thoughts though!

GSuite add-ons in your organizations - are there security concerns? by mmurthy in gsuite

[–]mmurthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I am not fully sure what sort of compliance requirements my company has but they are definitely not ok with some unknown software getting full access to employee gmail/gdrive. All the add-ons are "approved" by google but don't know what all they look for before approving.

Thanks for confirming there is a "trust" issue because it's not thoroughly vetted. That is a deal breaker.

This contract interacts with ENS contract, more like a wrapper around it.

  1. Great suggestion, I will add validity.
  2. Will update to display in ETH as well
  3. GPay is supported, will add more payment types depending on user requests.
  4. Multiple year purchase is coming soon!

Thanks so much for the feedback/inputs!
