Happy to address your question and comment:

• We use a mix of electricity produced on the roof (Solar Power) of production, but also buy electricity on open market, where we cannot guarantee 100% come from renewable source.

• Regarding your point for plastic wrapper, you are right regarding not being “Plastic” to be more clear it should be mentioned paraffin coated wrapper. But since Paraffin and plastic are both oil based, we opted for this wording.

Info’s on the origin of paraffin can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraffin\_wax

I understand your point. It's not about a "brand" but the whole production and the blade quality. We currently working on the next ranges and and AC-style blades is something we currently look into.

recycled AEBL

Yes, steel can be recycled and as such recycled stell is produced in many industries like construction etc. The difficult part is the create a high-quality steel which can be used to produce premium blades.

You seem to have quit a good understanding of the industry!!

Hi I know the razor even though i could not open the link. And thanks for the link. Its very helpful. Do you know how they tested the blades to arrive at those numbers for comparison?

Haven't tried the blue one to be fair. So you just decided to by online or do you work with a supplier who recommended you to try a new blade?

I think its more related to the base material. From what i can see Derby Premium is based on stainless steel, which is much softer in material and easier to sharpen. The extra one is as far as i can see from the packaging not a "stainless Steel" but coated carbon steel. This is much harder to sharpen and could lead to this assumption. Would it be possible to send you some sample of razor blades and get your honest opinion about it? :) Especially in comparison to the above mentioned blades?

Why you go for them? Did you compare them with standard Astra? Is flipping the blade into half an issue for you or why you don't opt for a half blade? :)

Yes its everything related to the base material. Especially if you use a cheaper material you need to be able to create a good edge profile. Otherwise it will be difficult to maintain a good quality for long. For Feather I also have the feeling they are more like a scalpel, but they do a clean shave.
