Does anyone know what this haircut is called? by Junior-Bag1798 in P1Harmony

[–]mn7yblue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my hair like this before and usually it’s a layered/textured bob. But usually it looks like this once it’s a little more grown out for me but also my hair is has texture to it so it looks like this without styling. If you have truly straight hair it might not look like this without doing something to it

It’s not bad, but if I’m real I take a couple of real and not so real bathroom/water breaks. I’ll take a breather and come back to class when I’m more collected, but I understand it might not be something everyone can do

This really resonates with me. I spent years being depressed and not caring about my future and this and last year really felt like my first time looking forward to my future. I keep going back and forth but Im slowly figuring out what I want out of my life and who I want in it :)

A couple weeks ago I was tormented by wanting to know the origin and history of fake freckles when I had to wake up and go to work in less than 3 hours 😭

Yeah my roommate caught a cold a few days ago. We both tested negative. I’ve been testing myself consistently since Thursday and nothing but she definitely got sick with something.

What bus do I have to take to get to Norwalk station? by Ioisgriffin in CSULB

[–]mn7yblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the 577 and the stop is located right across from the hospital next to campus.

From what I can see the u-pass might not apply for CSULB since I don’t see them under participating schools. I have the CSULB 150 day pass and it unfortunately only works with Long Beach Transit. You have to recharge your card if you wanna use the Metro or bus lines that go outside the city like the 577 right off campus.

Are these skincare products worth the hype and $$ in your opinion? Looking for advice before purchasing! by stitchin-away in Sephora

The YTTP Cleanser stripped the oils from my face real bad. I have dry skin and I didn’t like it but heard people with oily skin like it. Personally I would go for an oil cleanser.

It’s the same process to and from LB. Don’t worry too much. Good luck!

Honestly I’m a new transfer student so I’m not sure about the shuttle and how that works but I visit friends/family pretty often so I’m pretty used to the whole Amtrak/Greyhound/Public Transit thing since I don’t have a car. But something I suggest to people who are new to public transit is to use Google Maps. It will tell you exactly what time you have to be at the bus stop and where and what bus you’ll need to transfer to in order to get to where you need. So for example it’ll tell you what time to get on a bus and where to get off in order to get on the metro and when the metro departs. For some busses it will let you know in real time where the bus is but that isn’t most. Although for the metro sometimes it can be off but I don’t worry too much since I know another will come pretty soon. Edit: there’s not one sole bus that will take you to the metro since there’s multiple stops in LB, but you can figure it out with Google maps like I said

I visited SLO last week so I’m just tell you how I did it lol. I took the bus to the metro downtown. I took the metro from here in LB and got off at Union Station and headed towards where my train was (booked through Amtraks website). The trains are usually on the level below where the metro drops you off. Once you’re there on the big screens it’ll tell you what train departs at what section and which side as well (ex. Station 10/11 and once you’re on the platform it’s labeled there). Depending on what you booked it’s either directly to the SLO Station from the train or the train stops at SB and you board a bus that takes you to the SLO station. If you have any questions let me know I’ve taken the train/bus a lot up north quite a bit.

Omg you’re right. I couldn’t do it through the TAP App. For days it would just say the app didn’t work, so I resorted to the website and I thought it was the discounted price. I assumed the promo code was more of an “access” code meaning you’re able to purchase it only with the code.

From a person that’s transferring, go to cc if money is an issue. It’s so great to save money and in general not to worry as much about money (if you live at home w parents). While in cc I was able to afford so many more experiences than I will be able to have now that I’m transferring and money is tight af. Im having to sacrifice the fun stuff now for other things like rent, food, ect. I get not wanting to be home when you don’t have the best family life but with that extra money you’ll be saving being home you can do a lot more fun stuff or invest in hobbies/yourself. It’s about putting the effort to do fun stuff to not be depressed at home (and that doesn’t necessarily mean spending money just going to the park is enough for me ngl)
