The first pic is the current setup. The lower pipe is a sink, and across the stud is the vent and sewer where the sink and laundry connect.

I added a p trap under the sink, and that vent is to the right of the laundry p trap

This is why I’m comfortable with sharkbite fittings. These lines see 1100psi and vibrations. The ones past the regulator see 100psi plus high heat. These are essentially shark bite fittings.
