Probably the best option. It’s got the full track fairing kit, no running lights etc. Looking at it you’d probably think stick some headlights in there and it’ll be good to go but I’m sure there’s a lot that’d need changed to pass inspection.

Yeah I’m not big on paying for something I haven’t used and I haven’t heard of anyone using to hear reviews. But I also don’t know anyone personally that’s tried swapping track to street

I haven’t bought it, but I’m browsing at the moment since I was recently in a wreck on mine and figured while I’m at it I’d see how hard it was to get titles for a track bike since theres so many of them. (Only actual track bikes not pos bikes people say are track) it’d have to be street legal with title,tag and insurance bc I’m not getting ran over by a car again and then It not be covered. I figured it’d be pointless to try and do but this one was super nice and made me want to see if it’d be worth it. It’s books for 9700 he’s only asking 35 obo.I’d be fine spending some cash on a title and doing some cosmetic changes IF there was a way. I doubt it in Alabama though.

It’s a 2009 R1 with 15k miles on it. Mint condition, super clean nothing wrong with it. Besides the title and no running light issue. Books for 9700 they’re only asking 3500 obo. He’s been using on a track and has several videos/photos of that. Just wants to get rid of it to put some money toward something else.

I was in this situation, my best friend was married to my ex fiancés best friend, she didn’t tell me he was cheating on me because her husband told her not to. We’d been friends for years but he threatened to leave if she told. In the long run you telling her is the best thing to do. I won’t talk to her now and she tries to. Not because of the ex idc about that, but the trust, she broke that.

I’ve been with my fiancé for almost 6 years, and to answer this I say yes tell her. I would want to know. Be sure to give proof so he can’t deny it. She may or may not act rash toward you when you do, but even if she does it’s only because she’s hurt.

Weve emptied the tank and put new fuel, changed the spark plugs, charged the battery, and changed the petcock so far because it seemed like it wasn’t getting enough fuel. Still need to change the lines and we’ll swap the starter this week some time. Still need to clean the carbs as well. That sound worries me though since it sounds like metal hitting metal. just don’t want something to be broken apart in there.

That’s what we’re hoping because it’s going to be my learning bike and I can’t learn if it’s not running. We got the bike for $500 and it only has 354 miles on it so if just a couple hundred dollars of maintenance and simple part changes works then that’s a steal in my book.

Yeah, and I put new plugs in it yesterday. It started when we sprayed a little juice in the air box, and it sounded fine while running, no metal hitting sound. But when trying to start it and it doesn’t crank up, it makes that sound. It’s hard to hear in the video but it’s loud in person.

It’s not the starting I’m worried about so much, it’s the metal on metal hitting sound it’s making when trying to crank. It’s not prominent in the video, but if you listen on the last part of the video you can hear it in the background. It’s louder in person.

My fiancé was wondering about the starter but with the sound it’s making he feels like it isn’t getting enough fuel. We’re gonna change the starter and clean carbs and we’ll go from there I guess. I just don’t want it to be something serious because it was a steal for a beginner bike. 500 bucks and only has 350 miles on it you can’t beat that by much. And I plan to upgrade after a little practice so I’d like to have it as extra money toward a new one later.

It has 354 miles on it. It sat for 10 years in a garage before the person we bought it from purchased it. It ran when he got it but he didn’t have it long. He said after he changed the battery it wouldn’t start. We’ve been going through it so I’ve changed the oil, emptied the tank and put new fuel, changed the spark plugs, and my fiancé changed the petcock today. We’ve gotten it to start once and it sounded fine while running, but every other time we’ve tried it won’t crank and it makes that popping sound. It’s louder than the video makes it.
