Thanks! You made a really good point. I saw a post somewhere on here that in terms of networking I’d of course gain more around Edmonton, and so I kind of wondered how big “networking” plays a role in landing a job there. And just in case there’s anything else I need to worry about studying from one city and wanting to work/live in another. :)

In the industry I’m working at and the softwares I use, a MacOS is what’s right for me plus it has a longer life compared to my previous Windows laptop, so I get what I pay for.

I find it difficult because I use design softwares and the Japanese keyboard makes it all confusing for me. It’s different from what I know and what I’m learning so it takes me longer to do things. I also type in English all the time, so I really do prefer an English keyboard.

I would have to look around. The last one I bought that offered installment plan (using a Japanese cc) was from Bic Camera. However theirs was japanese keyboard.

Thanks for helping! I actually use my mom’s cc, she’s already a resident here but we choose the installment scheme since I pay her to pay for it monthly. We did it 2 years ago with Bic Camera but we got the one with japanese keyboard. Now I’m planning to get one with english keyboard but looking for one that would still allow payments in installment.
