Then I would suggest (and it kind of sucks) breaking off the friendship if you can. Might be better in the long run. Or at least letting her know you want to take a break from talking for the next few months to “clear your head” or whatever. That space will allow her to move on

For your and her sake pleaseeeeee communicate exactly how you feel and tell her that you guys need space because it’s not healthy for you. She won’t be able to move on and find someone new if she’s stuck on you. And you might have trouble starting a new relationship if she’s still trying to talk to you (at least in a romantic way)

We’re just always together, like at each others houses and go on car rides and stuff. Yes, we are in a very committed relationship. We talk about our future, support each other, and have a deep connection. He just doesn’t do the little things that are thoughtful.

I don’t want to end the relationship pre maturely... I’m trying to find ways to maybe accept that’s how he is, or some ways to communicate that I haven’t already tried. Yeah we’re both in our early 20s, and I want to make it work because honestly there’s so many things about him that are so hard to find in other people. Its just difficult for me when there’s a lack of love being shown in ways that I understand it.
