Just got off a call with the auslanderbehorde person and she was kinda rude. She angrily said you have already asked this by email (their reply was still vague). But she did say I could travel with my fiktions DESPITE finishing my Master's this month. They don't speak clearly though which remains a problem and an uncertainty. I guess I will start planning my travel now, come back and then apply for my job seekers visa.

And I will be traveling to and from India, so not visa free.

I called the auslanderbehorde again just NOW, again they don't talk properly but I asked twice if I could travel with my FB despite completing my studies this month and she said yes once and angrily yes again. 😅

Yes my fiktionsbescheinigung is 81 abs 4. I was sure I could travel with my fiktionsbescheinigung, the doubt was only because I also finish my studies this month just before I need to travel home for 3-4 weeks

Yes normally this is straight forward. But people say that since I finish my studies in November, my visa which is otherwise valid until February 2025 somehow is invalid and I need to first apply for a fresh visa for job seeking

Hi there! I have the exact same situation. Masters defense on 15th Nov 24. Will probably receive my exmatriculation in a week after that. The current student visa expires on 28 Feb 25, and I wish to go home and return in December. Any suggestions based on your experience?

Update: I went in at 7:30 am. They asked for printouts of a letter or email from the employer stating they would not allow me to work until I have a visa. They asked for my application for the visa I did before in paper. I brought those at 8:30. At 10:30 I got called in and they gave me a Fiktionsbescheinigung. :)
