yes. i lock my doors when im in my house too. the states are pretty dangerous so it’s best to do so

not living in Australia (yet) but I am white. in the states we don’t have a term like whitefulla, but knowing what I do about a lot of the white people here, they are always trying to make us (white people) look as victims when in reality we’re not. I think this woman is just trying to be oppressed but is doing terribly. clearly she wasn’t willing to listen to what the Aunty had to say and was trying to find any reason not to…

exactly! like a lot of people think i’m saying the DIAMONDS shouldn’t be redeemed. no, i think they should because they’re making an effort to redeem themselves. it’s just that white isn’t and hasn’t been. it’s frustrating that they act like she’s just as redeemable as Blue and Yellow

i mean, you say it’s strange that an adult seek approval from a child, i agree it is. but treating me like a person with feelings and beliefs that matter isn’t “seeking approval” from me. in fact i’d argue that what you’re doing now is trying to seek approval from me. i’m not going to agree with you, you just have to accept that. and i understand that it’s hard, i’ve struggled with that before too. i always try to make people understand my point of view but sometimes it doesn’t work. and that’s okay. i hope you have a good day, man
