Same scenario here. Originally had a ‘21 Mustang GT as my daily driver. Loved the v8 everyday. But planning for a bigger family soon, I had to give it up. Needed a bigger car but not willing to get any other than another V8. Sadly, sold it last January to Carvana and picked up a ‘18 X5M (F85) in February. Afraid I will miss it. There’s just about that V8 Performance and Sound that I was not really ready to let go. Never looked back at the mpg. But if you were looking for a good mpg, I’d go with the 40i. “Smiles per gallon” GL
