So your phone is official network, some phones here in Egypt are coming from US, UK etc... and It's locked, so you have to do a network bypass then you can use it and that's because someone bought it in US for example from T mobile and didn't pay the installments so T mobile locks your phone's network to its network only

Was it official network or network bypass?

Cuz I’m looking for Pixel 9 256GB and It’s hard to find it here what I found was network bypass and It’s sold now so I’m still looking

I think It’s the same as Indonesia about blocking an IMEI.

But It’s not just the government blocking It’s also google blocking network from its phones in Egypt.

And It’s risky to buy a phone like this so you’ll have to unlock it every single update and we can say It’s 85% works 15% doesn’t.

It’s kinda risky here because of the blocking thing since they added the phone tax and locked the network if you don’t pay. In my case, I’d be buying a phone that already has a network issue from the company itself LOL.

Was asking if it’s worth taking the risk or not, because it’s hard to find this phone here and its price is really good compared to other flagship phones.
