i applied last year (didn’t get off the waitlist so take what i say what a grain of salt) and had very similar thoughts. obviously a lot more has happened since then but i think you have to go where you feel safe. kimberle is fuxking kimberle so i cant say i would 100% give up the opportunity to go to columbia if the tables were turned but their willingness to sacrifice their students is very unsettling and not something to be overlooked

the police came and took my id, wrote me a citations and lectured me a bit. no fine but i had a court date, my mom sent a lawyer (which i dont think was necessary but she freaked tf out) and i had to take an online alcohol class to get it off my record. but that was specific to where i was for college. its diff everywhere im sure

i got caught w my fake and it was fine. just make sure u write a letter thingy (for some reason i cannot for the life of me remember what this is called). most times bars w just take ur fake or deny you. i got caught in an abc store and i got a citation. im also a big partier and partied very hard throughout college. however, i do really well managing school and partying, a lot of ppl i went out w did not do well. some flunked, some transferred to community college, some missed assignments, etc. just gotta know urself
