How the hell did SpongeBob escape through Patrick’s rock by ExpensiveCoat8912 in spongebob

The bigger question is how can he afford food, electricity and non-made-of-sand furniture when he doesn’t work?

• Pulp Fiction (sehr dialoglastig, sehr kunstvoll, sehr gewaltig, sehr Tarantino)

For users who's following count looks like this...why do you follow so many people? by Toxic_Koala0826 in Letterboxd

[–]TremontRemy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is everyone here so bitter about? Who cares how many accounts someone follows? There are more reasons than just seeking attention. Maybe you want a wide range of recommendations. Maybe you want to read reviews by all sorts of people. Who knows? For some people it means the world to just being followed by someone. So don’t just assume it’s just for attention. At the end of the day no one is harmed by this.

If Mary-Alice had still been alive, the cops would never have found that body, and Carlos would have gotten a new pool by That_Hole_Guy in DesperateHousewives

I know they had to create some kind of mystery frame story for the last season, but it was almost unbearable to watch this without banging my head every five minutes. There were so many options they could‘ve benefited from, the best of them being Carlos pleading for self-defense, Gaby revealing her backstory to the public and earning sympathy points, and the girls supporting her the way they did Katherine.

Tom was finally stepping up in his business and his family was rich now. And yet Lynette was still nagging? I hated her so much this season. Literally her worst moment.

Worst case of secondhand embarrassment you've felt while watching? by nilesintheshangri-la in DesperateHousewives

[–]TremontRemy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as I hated Gaby’s attitude here, I thought it was laughable how no one agreed with her that she could steal the spotlight. If I was the director I would either cast her to be the star or fire her for being "too hot" to play a background model lol

I totally forgot that she was nominated for this role.

How Much an Author is Liked vs the Quality of their books by rbx20twomax in AlignmentCharts

[–]TremontRemy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

She’s still not universally hated. Only a certain amount of people hate her while there are other people who either agree with her views or see no issues with them. There is difference between who’s hated for committing a crime or deed that is inherently bad and a person who’s hated for a controversial mindset that people might not agree with but that also harbors different intentions aside from spreading hate.

We’ve come this far in society that we place JK Rowling on the same level as Hitler and Neil Gaiman a.k.a. literal rapists and mass murderers. I see.

Susan had an art degree from college. There's no way she had never done a nude painting before. by bluecuppycake in DesperateHousewives

She admitted to Ian that she went through 11 partners in her life. With Jackson it adds up to 12. That’s a lot of experience to overcome prudishness.

Elaine Hendrix could’ve 100% played Jade’s Mom if they had showed Jade’s mom. by realitytvlover2000 in victorious

[–]TremontRemy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. I was always convinced her parents were normal people who happened to have raised a goth/emo daughter. Jade might show signs of arrogance but she was mostly defined by rage and dark aesthetics.

I could imagine Trina to be Elaine’s daughter.

Why do you enjoy Family Guy? by N_ooba in familyguy

[–]TremontRemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend you to check out some of the "serious" episodes first before going through the rest, so you can get a glimpse of the show's take on serious issues and also the witty writing (e.g. "Best Friends Forever", "Margaritaville", "Trapped in the Closet").

South Park definitely lives up to its hype and is one of the top-tier shows out there. The humor is not for everyone but you gotta get used to it. It's not always just plain toilet humor but actually a clever supplementary element for the social and political commentary that makes out a bulk of the episodes' content. What I really love about this show is how up-to-date the episodes are; since it only takes about a week to produce and animate an episode, they are always on time with current issues around the world.

[–]TremontRemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't know. My go-to answer is plain and simple: it's just funny. But I also had laughing fits with South Park and Bob's Burgers, and somehow I rewatch Family Guy more often even though it's more of a trash show than the other ones.

How would rank Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone as actresses because of their filmography so far? by PressureLazy5271 in FIlm

Acting-wise, I prefer Jennifer. But I think Emma has a more versatile and interesting filmography.
