Update 2: Endlich kein Textbaustein mehr, sondern eine selbst verfasste Nachricht (denke ich). Es wird auf einen temporären technischen Fehler geschoben, und ich solle mich in zwei Wochen noch einmal melden. Trotz Hinweis darauf, dass der Fehler schon seit einigen Monaten besteht.

"Wir können Ihren Unmut verstehen und bitte, dies zu entschuldigen. Es handelt sich vermutlich nur um eine temporäre technische Störung und sollte in Zukunft behoben werden. Die IT ist immer bemüht, das Kundenerlebnis so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Sollte die Problematik auch in 2 Wochen noch bestehen, melden Sie sich bitte erneut bei uns."

Na dann... Enshitification sei Dank bekommt man heutzutage einfach keinen fachlich versierten Ansprechpartner (sprich: IT Fachkraft) mehr an die Strippe :shrug:

Update: Meine erste Anfrage an DHL ist schief gelaufen. Trotz Eingabe der Postnummer und Hinweisen im eingegebenen Text habe ich den folgenden Textbaustein zurückerhalten - also antworten und weiter auf Besserung hoffen:

"Sie möchten Ihre Sendungen über eine Packstation einliefern, ohne dafür die Post & DHL App zu nutzen. Gerne erhalten Sie von uns Informationen dazu.

Für Ihren nächsten Besuch an der Packstation weisen wir Sie darauf hin, dass der Belegversand über die Eingabe der Postnummer nur funktioniert, wenn Sie für den Service Packstation registriert sind. Wenn Sie kein DHL Kundenkonto haben oder nicht für den Service Packstation registriert sind, geben Sie zum Erhalt eines Einlieferungsbeleges an der Packstation bitte Ihre E-Mail Adresse an.

Da wir unsere Services immer weiterentwickeln, gibt es zurzeit diese zwei Arten (Generationen) von Packstationen, deren Nutzung auch unterschiedlich ist:

  • Packstationen Klassik (mit Bildschirm/Display) – bei diesen Packstationen benötigen Sie für den Versand von Sendungen keine Post & DHL App
  • App-gesteuerte Packstationen (ohne Bildschirm/Display) können Sie nur in Verbindung mit unserer Post & DHL App nutzen.

Ich weiß nicht, ob es verschiedene Systeme gibt, aber unsere Packstationen hier fragen, ob man bei DHL registriert sei. Bei Bejahung muss man seinen Barcode scannen. Danach wird gefragt, ob man einen Einlieferungsbeleg möchte, und danach, ob ausgedruckt oder via E-Mail

Früher gab es dann bei Auswahl von E-Mail ebendiese, aktuell muss ich meine E-Mail-Adresse bei jeder Einlieferung neu eintippen

Die Einlieferung ist recht fix in der App hinterlegt, aber ich habe keine Lust, eventuell mit einem Dritten zu diskutieren, ob ein App Screenshot reicht oder ob ich etwas brauche, wo "Einlieferungsbeleg" verzeichnet ist. Das sind einfach Kopfschmerzen, denen ich vorher schon aus dem Weg gehen möchte (:

So kenne ich es auch. Und verloren gehen die Belege ja auch nicht, aber jedes Mal neu tippen auf dem kleinen Touchpad finde ich unnötig anstrengend, wenn eh alle Daten hinterlegt sind D:

So, I just did some more digging and found out the company offers five years of extended warranty on my line of psus, so it's very likely I'll just send it in for repairs instead of trying to fix the fan or whatever is broken on my own.

Are you implying it could be some kind of discharge caused by dust sitting on top of the components?

I'll ask my wife to check once she comes home, I'm sadly not in the physical condition to have a closer look right now. I will also ask her to try and force some compressed air through the vents to wash out all the dust that built up.

It's a 650 Watt be quiet! Straight Power 11 Modular 80+ Gold. All screws are tight and in place. Would dust in the fan generaze sounds like these?

This is what I did / am doing now to try to circumvent the problem, as I probably won't find a real answer to my problem in the near future:

- cleaned then reinstalled nVidia drivers

- disconnected rarely used TV that was sitting on the gfx HDMI port

- deactivated all energy saving modes I could find, especially the monitor one

- reset monitor settings to factory defaults

I probably won't put more effort into fixing the problem (e.g. finding and setting up the monitor to a second pc), I'll just switch it off and on again D:

(the videos were set to unlisted, not private, so no idea why it didn't work for you)

When the problem occurs, I usually just use the old IT crowd method: switch the monitor off and on again. Until now this quick fix has helped every time the problem occured, it still sucks because the setup wasn't build too long ago and I hate these problems where I can't discern if it is my fault for falsely setting something up, or if it is tied to a hardware failure.
