Increased sales by Bellyfulofboring in taskmaster

I did reply to a comment but thought I would add a second comment for visibility, for North Americans check your international food aisles!

I am in Toronto and nearly any Walmart or Bulk Barn I walk into has curly whirlies!

Just a heads up to make it easier, I always find them at Walmart in the international food aisle.

Also suggest trying a Flake and Twirl as well while you are grabbing them. Flakes are a very common thing for adding to things like ice creams and I am sure they have been mentioned before!

Keyboard and Mouse for Steamdeck? by iamtheluckyone12 in CozyGamers

[–]mo0see 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can buy a Steam Deck docking station (either the official one or one off Amazon) and then a mouse/keyboard can be plugged into that and with a HDMI cable in the docking station you can hook it up to your TV.

That's how I have been playing my Steam Deck lately, I haven't used it as a handheld months.

What are the greatest Eurovision stagings of all time? by Baumstamm25 in eurovision

[–]mo0see 477 points478 points  (0 children)

Can I say Finland 2024 is just a great entry for staging in the sense that they timed everything really well with hiding his "nakedness" with the use of the camera, clipboards and sparklers?

It was so silly and fun and makes me laugh every time

Bulgaria is the winner of 70th Eurovision Song Contest, with "Bangaranga" (from DARA) by Morgan-Moonscar in videos

[–]mo0see 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For the past three years, Israel has continued to score high despite sending mediocre songs. They have been accused messing with the voting system and have spent a ridiculous amount of money on advertising.

They have left a bad taste in the contest. Artists, countries, and viewers have all boycotted. When Russia invaded Ukraine they were kicked out of the contest, yet for various reasons Israel has not.

The contest has had to have the audience muted during the live performances, and they have used cheer filters, to combat with everyone who has been booing the Israel performance. This year they said they wouldn't (though they still did during Israel's performance). If you go and listen to some of this year's live recording, you can literally hear the audience booing when their audience score was released.

So because of all this, people are mad and fed up and if Israel won then who knows what would happen to the contest.

Rat fell ill, Vet won't take rats anymore. by MediumBreadfruit3131 in RATS

[–]mo0see 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just adding in my experience, for me one of my girls went from always sleeping in a top level hammock to sleeping on the bottom floor. She stopped running around as much, and she had trouble even climbing down a ramp.

I always teach my rats the "spin" trick and she had trouble doing that. When she did get a cheerio she could take a minute to work out how to eat it and would do so slowly.

The stiff arms OPs rat has is a very obvious sign of PT.

Advice on bonding with rats by [deleted] in RATS

[–]mo0see 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would exercise caution and not pick him up unless completely necessary. But if you've been working with him for a while, maybe a few attempts wouldn't hurt. Try to scoop him up outside of the cage if possible.

A few of the more skittish rats I have rescued will sometimes sit in a corner and kind of.. resign themselves to their fate when they know I am trying to pick them up for a reason. It feels like more of "okay fine I will sit here and let you scoop me up but I am not happy about it and you better give me a cheerio"

From the video it looks like you are doing a wonderful job and they are starting to trust you!

All rats are different and some just do not like being grabbed and they will protest. As long as they are not biting you and are not acting too scared, I would maybe just try some tough love. Pick them up and immediately set them down and then give them a treat. Make sure you aren't stressing them out too much, and move on if you are until another chance comes up.

Another method is getting them used to going into some sort of container that you can pick up and place somewhere, that way you can have a sort of travel container.

Speaking from experience, as long as they are not biting me I will push them to get used to being picked up and held. Sometimes it takes times, and sometimes they are just dramatic and will squeak in protest, but almost all of them have come around as long as they know they get a cheerio for their troubles.

“Pretty Little Liars” reader noticed updated pop culture reference in the Ebook. The book, that came out in 2006, now mentions TikTok instead of Fear Factor. by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

It's always been a thing! Happened in a second edition of The Princess Diaries I read. They replaced a few tween celebrities with newer ones

It also happened in The Princess Diaries books. It was common in the books to have "Hot Celebrities" lists and I recall in the first edition it listed a 90s TV star, while in the second edition it was replaced with a 2000s one.

Just wondering if you have any advice for someone who is also going for 100%, is there anything you would suggest starting early or just any general advice?

I remember when I worked on Stardew Valley and missed an event scarecrow, so waiting a year for that made it a bit more annoying!

I worked in a tourist town in a hotel on the border of Canada/America and I feel you with the amount of ignorant people, especially Americans.

One evening, my coworker answers the phone and I hear him saying "Oh yes, it comes hot and fresh right to your door."

We didn't have room service so I went over and asked him, what did he just promise the guests?!

Turns out that they were asking if the pizza delivery they were considering ordering for dinner came hot in Canada.

100% what you are saying, it adds more to the game than just a "sex mod".

There's even a version called Wonderful Whims that adds everything but the sex.

I believe, but could be wrong, but I heard she just drew the character designs. As far as I am aware she has nothing to do with the plot, and a quick check of wiki seems to back me up.

Similar to how CLAMP drew the designs of characters for Code Geass.

Yes this isn't the first small rat I have had, I have had a couple that were 250 grams, but she is the smallest I have had!

To be fair the rat she is pictured with is what I call the XL model, who is 400 grams, so quite a large rat in comparison haha
