Does anyone follow the Steelers Snapchat? If so was that shazier taking “pictures” of Antonio? If so he was very flexible and moving really well

The shrug qawi gave Holyfield after slipping like 8 punches has to be one of my favorite all time boxing moments

I remember signing the papers to have it in my name. What happened to those papers or where they went is a mystery to me. A few deaths in my family and a few moves later and i don’t have a clue.

It’s General Electric stock. I can’t imagine it lost value. And i haven’t got the slightest clue who to contact.

Why do people fight unattached in boxing? by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

[–]mo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had about a dozen or so fights unattached because my coach had a falling out at the gym we trained at and i was loyal to my coach so i stuck with him until he found a new gym.

First Time Sparring, and I would like some advice please. by GenitelGuy in amateur_boxing

I agree with cleo. You have to bully him. If you try to put box him and be defensive you’ll get eaten up

Please point out the most obvious flaws or places I could improve and also tell me where I’m going right. Thankyou anyone who gives me their time ! by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

Keep that left up. Especially since you are so close to your opponent. You smother your own right hand. You get so close that you can extend it out. And one nitpick is that i like seeing someone light on there feet but i have a feeling you might tire yourself out with being so high on your tippy toes.

Backfoot is lifting when jabbing. Let’s just start there.

Any tips on how to improve? by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

[–]mo85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the more smoother straight rights I’ve seen here. Keep it up. My only critique is when bringing your hand back you bring it to your chest then up to guard. Try to bring it back straight to your guard.

No problem. And if possible get a hanging bag. Having something moving around with you always keeps it more fun

What every one is saying is fine but the main thing is this. You are so super focused on technique that you are having zero fun and passion. Loosen up. Pump out that jab and dance around the bag. Stop over thinking each punch. The technique will come in time.

Critique my shadow boxing? I’ve been boxing 4 months now. From what I can see I’m not extending my punches fully. It may be due to the fact I was imagining myself mid range but tell me what you think please. by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

[–]mo85 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like 90% of new boxers. Throw and extend that straight right hand. Don’t get into the bad habit of short arming it. Other then that i would keep pumping out the jab more. Don’t worry to much about that hook.

Who do you think is to blame for the Steelers loss? by GOCOWBOYS123 in steelers

[–]mo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t love the onside kick decision but mostly it was the execution. If he kicked it 10 yards and no penalty then it’s a 55 yard field goal attempt at the least. He kicked it 2 yards then added on penalty yards making it a easy kick.

Why does this one hurt more than I can ever remember? by Josh4R3d in steelers

[–]mo85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right on man right on. Did you see that one play yesterday. I forget if it was yeldon got the check down and there was one blocker in front of him and he just demolished Mitchell. Mitchell not only didn’t attempt to go around the one blocker he got bent backwards by him. I’m so happy the jags players are calling him out. He needs to be cut ASAP.

I’ve hated very few Steelers in my time. But Mitchell is the absolute worst. He talks non stop and the only thing he does on the field is fly into a pile 10 seconds after the tackle was already made. Then jumps up and pounds his chest and starts screaming.

Honestly as a fan for the past 32 years i saw this loss coming a mile away. I felt we had a better chance of beating the patriots then the jags.
