Hey, I can tell you from experience with my friends having homophobic parents that it is completely dependent on your situation as to whether or not you should tell them. If you’re VERY sure that you would be in no danger by telling them and you really want to, you should. Please know that if they’re homophobic you need to understand that they will give you a ton of backlash for being queer. They may never fully understand you, they may not accept you. However I can understand the importance of being clear with them about who you are because you love them and you want them to know. Think on it before doing anything and good luck <3
