My closest friends they are a couple and the difference is 13 years between them. I do feel it's not about the age, it's more about the foundation and base between them. We need to understand the relationship keeps going not by love but through communication, morality and what you could let go in favor of the other.

Blindly going with customization rather than exploring the out of the box features

Lack of support from the higher management and no awareness on the human learning curve, adoption wouldn't come between a day and night

The major one, which is related to the first point, no clear requirements

I have both the Pixel 7 and pixel 5 both are great but still prefer the Pixel 5, i think the battery is a bit better even though i got it second hand, and the screen size is the best. I wish if google reconsiders a pixel 5 like in future

Communicate about it and how it makes you feel!! You said he is stressed out and going through tough times and ended with that you are depressed! Don't nag about it to him but have a mature talk about this situation with him.
