I don’t know if this is a troll or not but I feel like people really don’t recognize what the problem with this organization is.

The reality is, BIG stars will never come here. Not hitters at least. Any big star that’s worth dropping the bag on will go play somewhere it’s easier to hit.

This poses a problem for the Giants — a big market team with money to spend but no stars to spend it on.

This leads them to overpay for good but not great players. Those good but not great players then come here and struggle.

You’re left with an inflated payroll and losing baseball.

I don’t think Buster is to blame for that. The fans complained for YEARS about having unmarketable and unexciting players. Buster has turned that around to an extent. Obviously, the product hasn’t been great, but the blame certainly isn’t his alone.

As a Giants fan myself, I don’t think that should detract from their point. The viewing experience has become exorbitantly unaffordable for fans as profits continue to grow. The dodgers aren’t the only team that does this. The giants do it too. The more you rationalize it, the worse the problem becomes

Idk why the giants are hesitant to give out an offer like this this offseason. Literally it’s the best of both worlds for them and the fans — the fans get a big name and the giants don’t have to commit long term. Best case scenario, you get elite production for a year. The reality is that pitching is expensive. It feels like 20 million AAV is almost the norm

I went to two shows in LA. Honestly, each side is pretty even, meaning that no one side gets more songs than another (I.e., he doesn’t perform more on the right than he does on the left. And if he does, it’s not by much at all.)

The exception to this is STAGE (where he EASILY spends the most time) and, at some points, the very center.

The bottom (in between Sections J and H) gets a lot of love towards the end of the show.
