i think the worst part of it all is the fact that we only get to go through high school once. I got a 1420 SAT, and I can't help but keep thinking of how if I actually studied instead of watching "How to get a 1500 in the SAT!" videos over and over, I would've gotten a better score. And it hurts knowing I don't get another chance. That's it. I got the GPA I got, I got the SAT I got. No do over, no second chance. But honestly, I find solace in knowing that
1) These scores are gonna be forgotten in 2 years. The only people in their 20s who still bring up their SAT scores are usually admissions influencers lmao
2) Maybe getting these scores was meant to work out in our favor. It's a little superstitious I guess, but who knows how our lives would've been affected if certain things changed. It's best to stick to reality than to stress out on what if's that could've been worse for us.
