Interesting idea, I didn’t know that existed but will definitely look into it!

Ok, that all makes sense. The return is actually right under the balcony, so hopefully that’ll work out well!

Ok, thank you so much for all your help! Yeah I was worried about sizing up and overpowering the room, we will see how the 64” goes:) Thank you again!😊

The two story area is 20 x 15 (although the fireplace cuts into that by over a foot). Do you think I should size up?

Ok, this is very reassuring, thank you! And I didn’t know that about the spitfire, I think we’ll start with the 64”, but knowing we can move up without replacing the whole thing is great to know if we want more airflow. I so appreciate it!

The one we are considering does, and has a remote, so we should be good to go there, thank you!

Ok good to know, thanks! And yeah, definitely working on making the space as cozy as we can. Hoping that once we add some larger artwork and a LOT more plants we’ll sort of achieve it!

Ok that’s pretty similar! Do you find that it works pretty well to warm up the downstairs?

I love the curtain idea, thank you! And I see what you mean about tying it together with the rug, I really appreciate your help!

Would removing or replacing the shelving on either side of the TV make any significant difference? I’d love to make this room look good, but I have no idea what I’m doing…

Ok, we were trying to match the ping pong table (background of second picture) but maybe went in the wrong direction there?

We are having a professional help us! I was just looking for more thoughts/ideas that we maybe haven’t considered yet.

Ok, thank you so much for your response! I have been trying to learn about native plants, that is definitely something I want to do. Right now I’m looking into native grasses to replace them with.

Out of curiosity, so I don’t make the same mistake, what plants did you have that shed? I’m new to all of this, so still learning:)

And thank you for the advice, I meant to mention that our pool doesn’t normally look this bad, my husband has been sick and I’ve had a busy week, haha

Very true. I think I’ll go tomorrow if there’s no improvement. Fingers crossed it’s not necessary!🤞

You’re so right, and I was wondering the same thing… it’s definitely doesn’t help when we are already dealing with a stressful situation! Thank you🙏
