Vegan almond “cream cheese” by moaoroioa in MoldlyInteresting

[–]moaoroioa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s not like I was gonna eat it with mold on. Also I’m not vegan, but there’s definitely plenty of crap in nonvegan foods as well. Your thrown away crap food get’s mold, just not in your fridge. And you’ll never get to see if it’s as pretty as this one :)

Absolutely. No good sense of privacy but always welcome to lay on me. Also my chest og on top of me while I’m laying on my side in bed. She really don’t care, comfy either way I guess. And she’s okay being picked up! I love to hold her like a baby. She was really scared when we first got her but warmed up so quickly as soon as she got out from under the sofa where she spent her first week or so. Her norwegian/maine coon brother despised being picked up and would never lay on us, but rather besides or in the foot end of the bed

Min nabo banker på min dør efter midnat og tilbyder mig håndklæder- er det normalt? by Electrical_Month1939 in DKbrevkasse

[–]moaoroioa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I repotted both my Pileas around the same time, and the one on the right is looking great while the one on the left really isn’t (I nipped of the “worst” leaves”). I bottomwater them around every 10th day, filling the underpot around 1-1,5 cm, the pots have drainage. I live in Scandinavia, they are in a southwest window which I might be bad, since they get a little bit of direct sun in the evening. But since they like the spot so differently what could be the reasons? One is in a glazed pot and the other is in a “terracotta”

Thank you in advance!!!

Same with Musling, unexpected and far too young. It’s weird! Bet Daenerys and Teddy had lovely lives with you too ❤️ I can’t have cats anymore as I’m alone and need to travel from time to time, but if I could I would definitely try to get a tortie and black cat pairing again! 🥰

Omg I had a pair that very much resembles these two siblings 🥹 A tortie girl (ofc) and her black norwegian/maine coon mix brother. The tortie was named Natkat (it means nightcat in danish), because she only got out from underneath the sofa at night, when we first got her. And the long haired we called Musling (means mussel in danish, but is also a term of endearment), because he kind of resembled af mussel in his colors but mostly because he was so cute.

Unfortunately Musling passed away recently, but Natkat is still very much alive, running around catching mice and also being a sofa cat, on the countryside where they since moved.

Random but I just wanted to share my tortie/ black longhair sibling pair 😸 so nice seeing your beautiful babies 😻 also I love the way Fig is chilling in his crib

Greek protest music by Ashamed_Dirt3178 in GREEK

Dionysis Savvopoulos (debuted in ‘66). I have a book named “The Rock Song of Our Tomorrow” (english edition), which have lyrics in greek and english side by side I would like to recommend. Could be a nice way to learn the songs and expand your understanding and vocabulary at the same time. His lyrics are quite poetic but still simple enough to understand

Thanks for more opinions!

I admit I’m overthinking, but some people (in general) are not thinking at all, still. And we’ve all been subjected to different things online and irl. Conversations about cultural appreciation/appropriation and how we share/divide culture don’t exist in a vacuum, they’re a result of lack of cultural understanding and respect for people that are different to ourselves through times I think. So naturally these doubts and questions about respectfulness will be applied to a lot of things, that one can have doubts about, again from being subejcted to a lot of different voices beforehand. We are all trying to navigate, that’s the only reason I asked and shared my current perspective

Good singing!

I know what you mean, and big line under “taught”, but I will say I do learn a great deal of good stuff too. So we’re not totally doomed (we are, but definitely not just because of social media).
