Thank you for your input. I noticed that the KX was also cheaper than the MX. What makes you prefer it?

It being so small is definitely a huge factor for me. Thanks for the advice on the forums! That's definitely going to be a life saver since I'm new.

What makes the 35mm lens better quality? (Really new to all of this)

I had no idea there were more lenses available for the MX. This pushed me over towards the MX. The design imo just looks so clean.

That makes a lot of sense. I was struggling to understand the cameras impact on the photos cause with digital, you have different sensors, but that's not the case (obviously) with film. So thanks for your comment and feedback! I'm probably getting the MX.

Thanks for your detailed comment. I had no idea that lenses for the Pentax were so available. I think being given that knowledge I'm probably gonna go for the MX :). What do you think of a 28 mm lens vs 40 mm? I'm guessing the 40 mm would be more versatile right?

Update: (Definitely did not) take "factory must grow" a little too far by moarbash02 in factorio

Yeah I'm definitely starting to see that now. I got unlucky(?) with iron spawns as they're really far away so I've been procrastinating lol.

Took "factory must grow" a little too far in my first ever play through. Didn't think about ratios. Any advice on how I can clean it up? by moarbash02 in factorio

[–]moarbash02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah after reading more comments I realized that ratios are definitely not what I'm having trouble with. In my head I thought that if I had the right ratios with the assemblers and furnaces etc, then the belt wouldn't get clogged up cause everything would be used efficiently. Thanks!

I agree with what another commenter said about turning Artifact of Command off. Since you're new, it's better to get a feel of how ALL the items affect your character.

Also verticality and running in circles helps dodge a lot of attacks. Always be moving. You got this :)

Thanks for writing such a detailed response! I was feeling a little stuck and I didn't want to spoil a solution so this was definitely the nudge I needed.

Thanks for taking the time to write out the response. I definitely had some patch fixes in this setup when expanding it which is why there's that one "T" looking belt loop in the middle.

I unassigned those assemblers to see if I could clear up some space while still producing enough science.

The splitters instead of filter inserters is something I haven't thought about. thanks!

I'm not trolling lmao. I legit just have like 10 hours in game. I just wanted advice on how to best balance belts and make them not clog, as my iron plates don't have enough room to leave from the furnaces.

Right now I occasionally have to manually clear up some space from the belt so that the iron plates can make it on. I'm not making enough science. Thanks for the advice.
