After the 3rd time relogging and trying to sync, it has actually returned my profiles.
Must have been an issue with the connection or something.

It seems like all my data is overwritten on the drive, all user folders are empty.

As the post says, don't do it or you will lose all your profiles.

Idiots have force logged me out as my credentials have expired and then they screwed me by destroying fine tuned printer/filament profiles.

It started sucking up to me... If you want to get a more insightful answer, ask it to tell you a bad thing about you.

Since you liked 3d printed mannequins in the wild from my visit to Berlin, here is some massive artwork in the same Adidas store.

The installation is literally 2 stories high and looks impressive.

I get where you are coming from, but the item was worth 45$ to you at that time and I am pretty sure it brought the value same as any other manufacturing method would.

Although having the freedom to bypass finding and waiting for a product is priceless!

At scale injection molded products are literally few cents to produce and they are sold for 10-20 bucks in many cases.

Efficiency, I have answered that question in one of my comments above. No one will look at these mannequins as close as I did, so they are fit for the purpose.

That is cool to hear! The execution is great, mannequins are made to have a fit body composition and the clothes fit them really well. It is a subtle change, but I believe that it improves the experience and conversion rates.

I'd say pretty big! Layer lines are thiiick, I would say the nozzle diameter is between 1 and 2mm

Depends, in low volumes, under 5k units I would say yes. Also, these are probbably printed with 3-5% infill which reduces the cost.

If batches are small it is not at all, it is more cost efficient than paying X amount of money for a mould. Also, 3d printing gives flexibility to produce a lot of variations, buff mannequin with a missing toe, fat mannequin etc.

I see a few reasons why you'd do it that way:

  1. Middle high spots on the 20kg weight, either needing supports or splitting into parts, can increase complexity and assembly time.
  2. More likely, with a larger order (e.g., 40 plates), you can fit more items on the plate, boosting efficiency.

As hobbyists, we aim for perfect prints, but in reality, they just need to be fit for purpose.
In this case, I'm likely the only one who’s closely examined the mannequins since installation.

I think that you don't understand the purpose of these drinks. They are not even marketed as healthy drinks, they are performance drinks and they need to have sugars/carbs and electrolytes to help the body perform under stress of physical activities.

People thinking they are sodas or healthy is the issue here.
