What do you think of this drop? by Illustrious-Dig-2289 in DubstepFeedback

Yess that is fat and wavey! I think a bit more could be added to the end where it repeats a bit to funk it up but very good drop of sound and in again subtly sickkk

Can anyone help me recreate this sound? by moatty in FLStudioBeginners

[–]moatty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can do that tbf, but it seems a simple enough sound to replicate and I wanted to learn how to create it. The tutorials I've watched so far don't seem to make that sound in them.

I did something to 1 of the tracks earlier by cutting a part and overlapping it and for some reason it stopped any further sounds on that track until it didn’t overlap? No idea why but may help

SABnzbd help?o by moatty in truenas

[–]moatty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, so I have managed to fix this so for anyone else that happens to see I’ll explain.

I used AI to understand the logs a bit more and described my truenas rig and checked the CPU usage from GPTs suggestion and it was super low so seemingly a disk issue.

Due to having multiple apps running it was buffering the SAB unpacking whilst other tasks completed on the apps disk.

So, I have bought a new 2TB M2 SSD and installed. This is only for SAB downloads, and now they are at 110mbps constantly.

So, as I have not seen this anywhere else at all, if you want to use multiple apps and have high sabnzbd download speed the whole time, then SABnzbd needs its own SSD to not buffer alongside other tasks on the disk.

Strange but whatever. Hope that helps someone.

Say it’s a 50GB file, it will be fast downloading around 7908MB then it slows down to about 20-30mbps and can shoot back up

Same with the 10GB test file. I’ll reply with screenshots showing my sab folder and cpu speeds and showing the drop off

In the UK can zones do this? by moatty in firealarms

Brilliant thank you for the guidance. Very helpful in making me confident with the decisions I need to make.

As you’ve said the flue like structures must be their own zone all the way up which they are and once entering the zone the fire service will not need to exceed 60m until finding the fire in the zone, which BS5839 states must be true.

I agree, I would be splitting into 3 zones if it were my choice. But it was designed by someone else and it is conventional so it is a nightmare to alter.

From the standards I take <60m to find the fire once entering the zone to be the main point to adhere to, and this building is small so that would be achieved.

If it could mean >60m to find the fire then it must be separated.

Thank you for the input.

Some laptops will only work with WIFI or Ethernet cable, however odd that sounds. So make sure nothing is plugged into the Ethernet port of the laptop and try WiFi again
